Stage Espresso

Since 2017 Stage has been serving the best coffees we can find. We have a regularly changing menu of single origin coffees from a range of fantastic producers and coffee roasters, available as espresso or filter.

Our breakfast and lunch menu is fresh, seasonal and cooked to order. We also offer pastries made every morning, alongside a variety of cakes, cookies and brownies, all made in-house, with a number of vegan and gluten-free options available.

Slurpfest Leeds Coffee Trail

This week is the inaugural Leeds edition of Slurpfest, a city wide festival celebrating coffee and all of the wonderful independents that make it.

From the 21st - 26th September you can collect a map from your favourite local independent, and then get trekking around as many shops as you can manage. Buy a drink from a venue and they'll mark them off on your map, and those with the most shops by the end of the week can win a prize!

Top tip - ask for decaf to help keep the shakes away. Stage always has a great decaf on espresso as well as at least one decaf option on filter, both available all day every day.

Saturday Slurpfest at Stage with Outpost Coffee

Slurpfest comes to Leeds for the first time, and on Saturday we've got the Outpost Coffee team taking over our bar, bringing a range of coffees for your tasting pleasure. We'll have a blind tasting competition running throughout the day where anyone can win a prize by matching up what they're tasting. We're then staying open late for a chill evening of bakes, brews, and board games.

Coffee at Home

Take home a bag of coffee from our retail shelf, available whole bean or ground to suit your brew method.

We also stock a range of home brewing equipment, including Hoop, AeroPress, Chemex and Toddy brewers, along with V60 and other filters, kettles, grinders, reusable coffee cups and other essentials for your home coffee setup.

Our Corner

Our historic building from the 1860s is nestled on the corner of Great George Street and Oxford Row, with a view of the striking Grade I listed hospital buildings of Leeds General Infirmary.

Inside, the building retains plenty of its original charm, with tall arched windows, decorative details and a sense of history that gives Stage a unique atmosphere.

Board Games

Take a break from the monotony of your day, grab a game, and enjoy some relaxed fun with friends or by yourself. Our board game selection covers classics and newer options, so there's something for everyone. Some of our larger tabletop games like Carrooka or Crokinole may not be available during busier times.

Dog Friendly

All well behaved dogs are welcome at Stage. Our dog-friendly policy means you can enjoy your favorite brew while spending quality time together. Come on in and make yourself at home!
